How do I make the GI SIS SkullCandy headset voice sounds go in headset and game sounds into the TV's stereo?

So I got the GI SIS SkullCandy headset and it's amazing, but I can't hear my friends over party chat because the game volume is going through the headset. Now is there any way I can make it so that I only hear voice chat through my headset and not game sounds?

If you had to pick between the Skullcandy Hesh and Skullcandy Gi headphones, which would you get? ?
