How to 'burn in' my headphones?

I recently bought a pair of Sennheiser HD428's, and I was wondering, what's the best way to 'Burn In' a pair of headphones? Would putting them on full blast wreck my headphones? Can I just put them at normal listening level? Is there anything bad about burn in?

What are the best all around Sennheiser headphones for music?
