There was a previous thread about Dewalt Batteries being weak. I am about to send my Dewalt DW9057 in for replacement under warranty. The problem is that not all rechargables are created equal. The DW9057 is the WORST type of rechargeable battery - it is NiCd - which is prone to "Memory Effect"....

3rd party lithium batteries for digicams, are they worth it?
