how do I get the progressive scan off my LG DVD player?

I've turned on the progressive scan on my LG DVD/VHS combo player (model V8824W) and now I just have a blue screen and cant get anything on the screen to be able to change anything! you can still hear a DVD playing but no picture! can anyone offer any help with my situation?
