Are insignia TV's any Good?

we're looking for a 32" HDTV...Insignia aren't the best, I know. But they are $550. Which is good :) We would rather a sharp HDTV...they have a great picture...but a little out of our price range. What are the opinions on the Insignia? Please honest opinions, but no need to be rude. Thanks
