I have a RCA ANT806 Indoor Outdoor TV Antenna installed near the sealing of my family room. I get decent reception but always want better reception. I don't want to install in on the roof, do you think it would be worth putting it in the attic, just 5 feet higher than it is now?

My MIL bought this for us. We don't have an HD tv. Our picture is pretty choppy and freezes a lot. Is there a better antenna out there? We are frustrated b/c we didn't mind a little fuzz before digital conversion. Now we can't watch half of our channels. Don't have $$ for cable/sat service.
