Wi this type of antenna work on a regular television.?

I have a regular tv(uhf) not hd, and I want to put up an outside antenna. Circuit city has an antenna called the Terk Outdoor uhf hdtv compatible. With it would I be able to pick uhf channels in my area? All stations are withing 30 miles.

How can I increase the satellite strength in my Sirius Radio reception ?

It is for my house. I already bought a outdoor TERK antenna with 50 feet of cable which helped. But, whenever it rains, I get no reception. It is pointed in the right place and even talked with Sirius tech support. Does anybody have any tricks or things they did from personal experience.

The Terk Tv5 amplified antenna has a lever on top that reads plus and minus. The MINUS setting shows a noticably stronger HD signal on my HD tuner. Can someone explain this?
